I'm pretty sure Cachin played fewer games than Bolivar that year. I know he played fewer games the year before when he lost a tight race to Bolivar.
And the final night, when one more Bolivar win would have given him the title, Cachin did not win the last game when Ondarres threw the ball in the red. The last THREE games were all won by Egurbi.
But hey, the bottom line is Joey, Bolivar and Cachin were all great players. I didn't see enough of Joey to make a choice, but I saw a lot of Bolivar and Cachin and I would take Cachin. I know that puts me in the minority, but so be it :-)
